Are you interesting to explore more about Larvesta?

Look no further, Let’s embark on a journey to unveil  how to evolve larvesta.

How to Find Larvesta in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

There is only one place, where the  rare Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet spawn is the Asado Desert near Cascarrafa and Port Marinda. They can be see crawling on the sand and players can find them on the top of the mesas in Pokemon Go during the season of Rising Heroes. The Koraidon /Miraidon unlocks the lavesta after getting the last Herba Mystica with Arven. To get the larvesta, Scarlet and Violet’s players need to reach around level 26 and catch larvesta easily.

Here is how to get Larvesta

  • Hatching 2km, 5km and 10 Km eggs –    First, you need to collect eggs which is find during an instinctive Hero event running from Tuesday 2nd May at 10 am to Monday 8th May at 8 PM.  Hatching of eggs is the only way to find larvesta, hence everyone needs to perform a lot of tasks.  We recommend focussing on the shortest distance hatch, so, having a 2km and 5 km egg, you can get larvesta easily. For intsnace  keep the 2km hatch in your incubator which will help you free up space and can hatch more eggs during an instinctive Hero event. If you hatch a 10 km eggs , it may hatch Larvesta.

Since Larvesta is a bug/fire type pokemon, it possesses some weakness. When catching larvesta use a Quick Ball initially; or use moves to target the resistance to catch the Pokemon Larvesta easily at the appropriate level.

How to Evolve Larvesta into Volcarona?

After catching Larvesta, the next step is the evolution of Larvesta into Volcarona which evolves at level 59 of the game.  Since larvesta has teamed up with Magikarp and Noibat; which requires about 400 candies to evolve which takes time to evolve into Volcarona.

One of the easiest way to level up is to feed it Exp. Candies, specifically, Exp. Candy L or  Exp. Candy M which can be farmed by winning 4 Star Tera Raids.

Evolved into Volcarona, it exhibits the following type of effectiveness and gains a stronger base.

Strong against (deals x2 or more damage to these Types with the right moves)Psychic, Grass, Dark, Bug, Ice, Steel
Weak against (takes x2 or more damage from these Types)Rock (x4 damage), Water, Flying
Resistances (takes half or less damage from these Types)Fairy, Ice, Steel, Bug, Grass (1/4 damage), Fighting
Immunities (cannot be damaged by these Types)N/A

Among all the best moves of Larvesta and Volcarona is Timid (+Spd, -Attk) or Modest (+Sp. Attk, -Attk) as Volcarona learns by leveling up.
